Disciplinary action will be taken against a van driver who was caught on camera taunting a motorist and swerving into the latter's vehicle during a road dispute, said Nam Ho Destination Management Company (DMC).

It is unclear when and where exactly the incident occurred.

In a Facebook video posted by Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road on March 7, the van driver is seen travelling at high speed and then cutting into the motorist's lane.

It is unclear what happens after the motorist switches to the rightmost lane and the van driver goes out of frame, but slight jerking movements can be seen on the camera.

The van driver then swerves towards the motorist, causing both vehicles to collide.

The dispute continues when the motorist cuts in front of the van.

Both parties eventually stop by the side of the road.

According to the Facebook post, the motorist then called the police, leading the van driver to make a u-turn and leave.

"Called police, went straight to the police station," added the post.

On the same thread, Nam Ho DMC apologised for the driver's "misdeed" and said that disciplinary action would be taken against him "without any delay."

It added: "We appreciate that [the] incident was shared with us and we assure you all that corrective measures will be taken so that we can improve on this front too."

When contacted by Stomp, the company declined to comment further.

However, netizens have slammed the video for being one-sided. Some also pointed out that the video had been edited.
