Several Stompers reported seeing a strange 'Unidentified Flying Object' in the sky from various locations in Singapore yesterday afternoon (June 7).

Stomper Yip was travelling along Tuas Road towards the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) at around 4.30am when he came across the sighting.

He said, "The object seems to be like a white coloured airship."

Well, this flying, hot air balloon-like object is actually a military blimp.

Also known as an aerostat, it can detect hostile aerial and maritime threats from as far as 200km away.
