Stomper Roy saw a McDelivery guy riding on a pavement and on the footpath at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West today (Aug 18) at 7.20am.

The rider appeared to be coming from Block 134 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 before turning into the park.

Roy stopped the rider to take a video of the rider and his licence plate number before stepping aside.

The rider was expressionless as he rode away.

Roy said that this was dangerous and that he "almost hit a few people while riding on the walkway".

He added that he has reported the matter to McDonald's.

A Spokesman from McDonald's issued Stomp the following response:

"We take all feedback on our employees seriously and have conducted a thorough investigation on this. We have since counselled our rider on the gravity of this matter and have taken the necessary disciplinary actions.

"As part of our commitment to safety, we encourage members of the public to report any unsafe riding practices by calling our McDelivery 24/7 hotline at 6777 3777 or by sending us an email at customercare@sg.mcd.com.

"Safety is of paramount importance to us and we would like to assure the community that we are committed to ensuring the safety of all motorists, road users and pedestrians. All our riders are provided training on compliance to traffic regulations, and we will continue to reinforce to our fleet of riders the personal responsibility of riding safe."
