Decomposed body of 76-year-old man found at Pasir Ris Block 212A

The decomposed body of a 76-year-old man was discovered in a third-storey flat at Block 212A, Pasir Ris Street 21 earlier today (April 4).

In response to Stomp queries, the police said they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the block at 11.42am.

"A 76-year-old man was found lying motionless in the said unit," police told Stomp.

Stomper Yusri, a resident living in the opposite block, contributed photos and a video after seeing police at the scene at around 5pm.

He told Stomp: "I saw five police cars and one Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) vehicle at the carpark of Block 212A.

"There were many policemen on the third floor, outside one of the units.

"After an hour, there were three policemen and two undertakers carrying a body to a police vehicle as seen in the video."

Police investigations are ongoing.

Stomp understands that no foul play is suspected.
