Stomper Hetty had to swerve to avoid crashing into a car driver who turned out from a filter lane without checking for oncoming traffic at 1.48am on Friday (July 7).

The Stomper was travelling back from Thomson and took PIE towards Changi.

However, Hetty said, just after the Toa Payoh exit, before merging to PIE, a car driver merged onto the main road from without checking for oncoming traffic

The Stomper had to swerve to avoid crashing into the car.

"If I did not react and swerve, it would be a nice accident claim from me to him.

"So brother, next time drive with care."
