Cyclist weaves through pedestrians -- even though they are still crossing road

A video circulating online shows a reckless cyclist weaving among pedestrians at 10.02pm yesterday (May 9).

In the video posted by Facebook user Hilarion Ignatius G and which a Stomper alerted Stomp to, several pedestrians can be seen crossing the road.

A cyclist then suddenly emerged from behind without slowing down and rode through the human traffic.

Ignatius said: "This is an accident waiting to happen.

"Idiots will remain idiots.

"What if the pedestrians get knocked down?

"Does he even have insurance coverage?

"Honestly, be it a cyclist or a e-scooterist, in my opinion, legislation should be made for insurance to be mandatory."
