Cyclist left tumbling on road after accident with car along Xilin Avenue

A video of an accident involving a car and a cyclist has drawn mixed reactions online.

Facebook page SG Road Vigilante posted a video of the collision that reportedly occurred along Xilin Avenue on last Friday morning (June 17).

The cyclist is seen hitting the car and getting knocked off his bicycle.

However, the car does not stop.

Many netizens were unsympathetic towards the cyclist and felt he was to blame for his own reckless behaviour. They noted that he was the one who had entered the car's lane and caused the crash.

Some said the car driver should have stopped to check on the cyclist regardless of who was at fault.

Several pointed out that the motorist who captured the video had failed to help as well.

"Reflect on yourself first before you comment on others," one user commented.
