A cyclist was sent to the hospital after an accident with a car at the junction of Boon Lay Way and Jurong West Street 64 on June 19, at around 9.24pm.

Stomper Braveheart passed by the accident scene and contributed photos that show a bicycle lying on the road.

Its rider was nowhere to be seen, but Braveheart said he was hit by a car.

The Stomper added, "It seems that the cyclist was turning in when the car came across. The rider got taken out."

In response to media queries by the Stomp, a spokesperson for the Police confirmed the incident and said a 25-year-old male cyclist was conscious when conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH).

Police investigations are ongoing.
