A woman's visit to McDonald's at its JCube outlet left a deep impression on her, thanks to an exemplary staff member.

She shared her compliments for the employee, named Yuvan, on McDonald's Facebook page in a post on May 19, which a reader alerted Stomp to.

Ms Ong said she had encountered problems trying to place an order via the fast food restaurant's e-kiosk counters as she did not know how to add on to her order.

Yuvan, who was helping someone at the McCafe kiosk, soon came to her aid.

Ms Ong recounted: "He assisted me and teach me how to use the e-kiosk and even make sure that l understand so l can do it correctly next time.

"He took the payment slip and brought me to the counter to make payment.

"I'm your regular customer and have been watching him the way he serve customers. He is very friendly and approachable and willing to take the extra mile in helping his colleagues as well as customers."

Ms Ong also said that Yuvan can be seen "almost everywhere where help is needed", adding: "In a competitive market you need to do everything you can to be one step ahead of your competition.

"This is where quality customer service and doing that little bit extra will help you to succeed.

"Yuvan is one such example and customers always remember exceptional service."

McDonald's responded to Ms Ong's praise in a comment, thanking her for writing in and her kind words.

It also said: "Please be assured that we will convey your compliments with our restaurant in JCube. Thank you again, and we wish you a great weekend ahead."
