Over a hundred people flocked to The Fullerton Hotel Singapore to meet India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, despite wet weather on Wednesday morning (Nov 14).

Stomper Vikash said a friend had informed him that Mr Modi would be at the hotel for a meet-and-greet session, which he attended with his family.

Vikash told Stomp: "We were waiting for Mr Modi at the lobby and he arrived in a car at around 6.30am, accompanied by his security team.

"There were more than 150 people despite the heavy rain.

"Mr Modi greeted people and children, and shook hands with them.

"He left after about 10 to 12 minutes."

Vikash said he spotted Mr Modi six months ago too, when the Indian leader came to Singapore for a three-day official visit.

Mr Modi is currently in Singapore for the 33rd summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which is taking place from Nov 11 to 15.

A Stomper had also seen Indonesian president Joko Widodo at Lucky Plaza on Tuesday (Nov 13).
