7 crocodiles spotted at Sungei Buloh: Warning signs posted at areas where they are most seen, says NParks

Original article:

A visitor was awed by the sight of not one but seven majestic crocodiles at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on Monday morning (Feb 1).

Stomper Gerald said one of the crocodiles was enjoying a sunbath and he managed to snap several photos of it.

Gerald shared: "I think it knew I was there because it actually turned around to face me... like it knew I wanted to photograph it, hahaha.

"A lady who was there with me when I photographed this crocodile actually thought it was a monitor lizard.

"I've seen a few crocodiles here before but never this close! It's really great to see nature in action, especially in a concrete jungle like Singapore.

"I actually saw seven crocodiles that day.

"So as a safety precaution (for both us and the crocs), perhaps the authorities should put up signs at the entrance to the park too. Better awareness, better safety."

More information about crocodiles and what to do when encountering them can be found on the National Parks Board (NParks) website.
