Couple with kid takes food stall owner's iPhone while his back is turned

A couple was caught on camera taking a phone from a food stall at Cendex Centre's canteen in Bukit Merah yesterday (Mar 19).

Stomper Zhi Ting shared closed-circuit television footage of the incident with Stomp saying that the phone belongs to her father who is the stall owner.

The incident happened at around 11.12am.

In the video, a woman is seen standing in front of the stall and looking around before leaving.

She then returns with a man who is holding hands with a young boy.

The man walks up and down alongside the stall before joining the woman who reaches over and grabs the phone before they leave together.

Zhi Ting's father and another man had their backs turned when the woman took the phone.

"If anyone knows who they are or is able to identify this couple please help me out!" said Zhi Ting.

"My dad was using an iPhone 6 with many personal photos and information on it.

"Please help to share this so I can have higher chances of identifying them. 

"Thank you so so much!"
