Couple acts suspiciously while 'browsing' bicycles parked next to walkway in Woodlands

A couple caught a Woodlands resident's attention with their strange behaviour near Block 721 Woodlands Circle on Sunday (Apr 16) at about 6.50pm.

Stomper Owen told Stomp that he saw a woman on her phone talking to someone as she was 'browsing' through bicycles that were parked beside the road.

"After she made some phone calls, a man appeared on the scene with his bicycle about five minutes later," he said.

"Both of them began to touch and tried opening the locks on the bicycles, but they could only break one lock open.

"Moments later, the lady tried to ride the bicycle and it seemed like she was not familiar with cycling on it as the seat was too high for her comfort.

"She struggled a bit but was able to get on the bicycle and cycle away.

"The man followed after with his own bicycle and left the scene."
