Stomper worried to see worker equipped only with harness while sawing trees

Stomper Amer saw a worker behind Block 564 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 who had scaled trees with nothing more than a harness. 

The worker had been sawing the trees, but instead of relying on a crane, the individual opted to climb the trees himself instead.

Said Amer: "This is so dangerous. What if he falls?"

A spokesman for the Ang Mo Kio Town Council has issued an official statement on the incident:

"As the area where the tree was located was not accessible to vehicles, the worker needed to climb the tree with his safety harness to carry out the job manually.

"A site supervisor was also present to make sure that safety measures were in place."
