Stomper Kevin was frustrated at yet another jam that had occurred along Woodlands Avenue 3 on Dec 9, causing traffic to come to a standstill for around one and half hours.

According to the Stomper, this is a regular occurrence and he decided to document the jam in a video from near Kranji MRT Station.

A bottleneck situation had occurred where the road widens to three lanes from two lanes.

"Even if they clear the bottleneck, they will get stuck at the traffic junction up ahead," he said.

He added that the heavy vehicles were holding up commuters travelling in public buses.

"I've seen many people alighting buses dangerously onto the road where there are passing motorcycles and vehicles.

"Their only choice is coming down and walking to the MRT station if they are in a hurry."

Stomper Sherine and Esmond also experienced the same jam that day.

"I was on the way to Johor Bahru but was stuck in the bus for almost one and a half hours without moving," said Sherine.

"All the passengers alighted and walked three bus stops to Kranji MRT Station."

Kevin added that this is not the first time this has happened and appealed to the authorities to do something about it.

Stomp has reached out to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for comment.
