Commuter praises SMRT bus captain for small kindness that means the world

An SMRT bus captain showed what service with a heart was by going beyond the call of duty to help commuters.

Stomper Amareet encountered the bus captain of bus service 61 on Tuesday morning (Dec 21).

He shared photos and said: "I was waiting at the bus stop after Tai Thong Crescent to take a bus to work at around 7.40am.

"When I boarded the bus, this bus captain helped his commuters to carry their market trolleys inside the bus.

"I was seriously impressed by his kindness and how he went the distance to provide the best care for his commuters.

"What a fantastic bus captain and I deeply appreciate what he did. His small act of kindness touched me deeply."
