ComfortDelGro warns cabby for smoking in taxi at Upper Paya Lebar Road

ComfortDelGro has given a warning to a taxi driver after he was spotted smoking in his taxi on July 29.

Stomper Edros shared with Stomp that his friend spotted the taxi driver smoking in his taxi opposite BreadTalk IHQ at Upper Paya Lebar Road, near Tai Seng MRT station.

The Stomper added that there were no passengers in the taxi at that time.

In response to a Stomp query, Ms Tammy Tan, Group Chief Corporate Communications Officer at ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited, said: "The cabby was found to have breached no-smoking regulations and has been warned.

"He has expressed remorse for his actions."
