Chinese woman slaps airport staff over cancelled flight, but he manages to keep his smile on

A woman repeatedly slapped a male staff member at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport in Liaoning province, China because her flight was cancelled.

The woman surnamed Li is in her 40s and was filmed assaulting the man in a six-second video.

She grabbed his arm with her left hand over the counter and repeatedly slapped him over the head with her right hand.

The remarkable thing was that the man remained calm the entire time and even managed to continue smiling throughout the attack.

According to the South China Morning Post, he was bleeding slightly after the attack and later reported the incident to the police.

The woman had been waiting to board a flight from Shenyang to Changsha.

After a five-hour delay, the airline announced that the flight had been cancelled due to bad weather.

Understandably, many of the passengers were irritable and angry and started surrounding the airline counter demanding an explanation.

However, things started getting out of control when they started to boo and some began screaming "Hit him, hit him!".

Only Li went ahead and did it.

According to reports, she also smashed a computer on the counter.

She was slapped with a 200 yuan ($40) fine and was detained for 10 days following the incident.
