Chew Chor Meng praised for photo with 'very polite and very cute' young fan

Local actor Chew Chor Meng had a memorable encounter with a young fan recently.

Chew shared the conversation that he had with the boy:

(This] little boy asked me,
Uncle are you the one on Channel 8 television?
- I said yes.
- Then can I take (a) photo with you?
- I said can, but hor after that you have to send (the photo) to me okay?
-Ok.
Just like that, we took a photo.

Chew also hashtagged the post with 'thankful', 'little boy is very cute and very polite', 'maybe in future he will say that he grew up watching my shows', and 'I posted without getting his permission, hope he's not angry'.

The picture was taken at the Yishun outlet of Chew's 888 Mookata chain, which he co-owns with fellow celebrity Dennis Chew.
