Chevrolet driver jams on brakes, swerves left and right 'like snake' to block Stomper

Stomper Ashton was left alarmed and distressed after encountering a road bully near the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Jan 13, at around 6.30pm.

A video that Ashton contributed shows the driver of a red Chevrolet jamming on his brakes multiple times, as well as repeatedly swerving left and right.

Ashton described the incident: "This occurred along the TPE exit on the last lane from the Kallang–Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) tunnel. Traffic was slightly heavy.

"I was travelling on the last lane behind a Honda Civic when suddenly, the said vehicle, a red Chevrolet car on the first lane swerved into my lane.

"He went in front of me and abruptly past the white chevron markings as shown in the video. He then jammed on his brakes for no reason.

"Luckily, I was alert and jammed hard on my brakes and started driving very slowly.

"Upon reaching the TPE, I filtered to the right to avoid him. He theb also swerved abruptly to the right to block me on purpose, as seen in the video.

"I was startled and tried to move to the left lane to avoid him but again, he swerved to the left, which almost caused a side collision, all the time veering left and right dangerously to block me from overtaking him.

"I was alarmed and distressed by his actions.

"He then cut into the first lane and swerved into my lane in a 'snake' manner, almost hitting my car.

"I swerved to the first lane to avoid him, and he finally left me alone."
