Check out Traffic Police's new BMW 3 Series M Sport fleet

The Traffic Police will be driving down highways with its new BMW 3 Series M Sport patrol cars by early next year.

Stomper Trempest Humphries had alerted Stomp to photos of the new highway patrol cars.

Pictures of the cars were also posted on ROADS.sg's Facebook page.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said:

"The Traffic Police procures new expressway patrol cars periodically as part of its vehicle replacement programme, as well as to enhance its operational capabilities and effectiveness.

"This new expressway patrol cars will replace the older models and should be ready for patrol duties by early 2019."
