Stomper Steven was jogging near Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve when he saw a crocodile by the shore on July 6.

The crocodile did not seem to be doing anything but basking as the sun was setting.

Steven wanted to share photos and a video of the crocodile for awareness.

Said the Stomper:

"People were collecting clams just at the opposite beach.

"It's important for people to be aware for safety."

Saltwater crocodiles have been spotted several times over the years in Singapore.

They are listed as 'Critically Endangered' in the Red List of threatened animals of Singapore.

They can grow up to seven metres long and weigh as much as two tonnes.
