Car overturns at Jurong West block, man suffers minor injuries

A car had flipped onto its side at Block 635 Jurong West Street 65 on Monday (Sep 17).

Stomper Stv was going home after shopping at about 9.30pm when he saw the accident.

In photos and videos that were taken by Stv about an hour later, personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) are seen surrounding the overturned car. 

A crowd of onlookers were gathered as well.

He said: "It was near the garbage disposal area.

"I didn't see how it happened."

The SCDF told Stomp that it was alerted at about 9.35pm. 

A man in his 30s was assessed and was found to have sustained minor injuries, but refused conveyance to a hospital.
