Two people were taken to hospital after an accident involving three cars in Bukit Batok on Friday night (Feb 3).

Stomper Ken shared photos of the accident showing one of the cars under a bus stop shelter with its bonnet crushed.

"Multiple loud bangs were heard," said the Stomper of the accident.

"I saw only two people entering the ambulance. Both looked okay."

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at the junction of Bukit Batok Avenue 1 and Bukit Batok Street 22 at about 9:45pm.

It added: "SCDF conveyed two persons to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. SCDF assessed another person for minor injuries and the person subsequently refused conveyance to the hospital."

When contacted by Stomp, police said a 42-year-old male driver and his 41-year-old male passenger were conscious when taken to the hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
