Car driver and passenger taken to hospital after accident with lorry at Corporation Road junction

Two men were taken to hospital after an accident involving their car and a lorry at the junction of Corporation Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim on Wednesday (March 20).

The police were alerted to the accident at 7.21am, they said in response to queries by Stomp.

The 33-year-old driver and his 23-year-old passenger were both conscious when taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

A Stomper, who passed by the scene at around 8am, contributed a video and a photo that show the lorry mounted on the pavement.

The car can be seen with a damaged front bumper.

Police investigations are ongoing.
