Car catches fire at Woodlands junction

A car burst into flames at the junction of Woodlands Drive 64 and Woodlands Drive 62 on Wednesday evening (Sep 22).

Stompers Man and Gallen alerted Stomp to the incident and shared videos of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers extinguishing the vehicle fire.

"It happened in front of my house," said Man.

"The car was on fire and the driver was nowhere to be found."

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said it was alerted to the fire at 7.35pm.

"SCDF extinguished the fire using three water jets," a spokesman said.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
