Car catches fire at Farrer Road junction

A car caught fire at the junction of Farrer Road and Leedon Heights on Monday evening (April 26).

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the vehicle fire at around 7.10pm.

"The fire involved the engine compartment of the vehicle and SCDF extinguished the fire with a hose reel," a spokesman added.

Stomper George shared photos that he took while passing by the scene, where a white car can be seen on fire.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
