Car burns into empty shell at Sin Ming Avenue

A car burst into flames at the junction of Sin Ming Walk and Sin Ming Avenue on Wednesday afternoon (Mar 17).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos he took of the burnt car.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the vehicle fire at 4.05pm.

"The fire involved the entire vehicle and was extinguished by SCDF using a water jet and a hose reel," an SCDF spokesman said.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
