Cabby taken to hospital after crashing into bollards in accident with car at Robinson Road

A 39-year-old cabby was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a car at the junction of Cross Street and Robinson Road on Tuesday morning (Nov 19).

Several Stompers alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and a video of the damaged Premier Silvercab taxi.

In a video taken by Stomper Joseph who was passing by the scene in a bus, at least three concrete bollards at the traffic junction were knocked over by the cab in the crash.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 10.37am.

The taxi driver, a 39-year-old man was conscious when taken to Singapore General Hospital, a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
