Three people were injured after a bus hit a car at the junction of Napier Road and Cluny Road today (Sep 29).

Stomper Syrus was travelling on the upper deck of SBS bus service 502 when the bus driver suddenly jammed on the brakes, causing the Stomper to "fly" out of his seat."

"I flew out of my seat and hit the back of the seat in front of me," said Syrus in a phone interview with Stomp.

He said that he was not sure what happened but believes that the bus hit a vehicle in front of it.

"The bus was in the middle lane but after the impact, the driver went to the side of the road."

That was when Syrus decided to alight the bus and saw that the front windscreen was cracked.

"Another passenger told me that someone had been injured."

A police spokesman told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at 11.54am today.

"Three persons were conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital (NUH).

"Police investigations are ongoing."
