Bus crashes into lamp post near 321 Clementi, causes traffic jam

A bus crashed into a lamp post near 321 Clementi Avenue 3 yesterday afternoon (Aug 11).

Stomper Joy and Adil shared photos of the incident with Stomp, showing the bus service 69 mounted on the pavement and blocking most of the road.

A lamp post was seen to be bent at a 90-degree angle.

It is believed that the bus skidded on the road due to wet weather conditions at the time.

According to Joy, the accident resulted in a huge jam in the area.

A police spokesman told Stomp that the police were alerted to the accident at 12.51pm on Aug 11.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
