Bus captain touched by passenger who surprised him with gift of gratitude

A bus driver was surprised and touched when a passenger surprised him with a gift on his route.

Stomper Eric, who drives for SBS Transit, said he was driving towards Changi Airport when a passenger passed him a gift at a bus stop along Loyang Avenue on Sunday (Dec 5).

In a note, the passenger thanked the bus captain for driving his passengers safely to their destinations and ensuring their comfort.

The 'thank you pack' included treats like chocolate, biscuits, mints and drinks.

Eric added that it was even more special considering his birthday is on Monday (Dec 6).

"It was really so touching and I wanted to thank her many times but I was busy driving," he said.

"Many thankful wishes to you, passenger. 

"Stay happy!"
