Bus and car involved in hit-and-run accident along Yishun Avenue 2

A car and a bus were involved in an accident along Yishun Avenue 2, towards Canberra Link, on Monday evening (Sep 1).

Stomper Bugatti passed by the scene at around 7.15pm, but did not manage to take any photos as he was riding his motorcycle at that time.

He said: "SMRT bus service 969 and a grey car collided outside Khatib MRT station.

"I managed to observe the scene for a few minutes when I was stationary at a red light.

"Passengers were alighting from the bus.

"There was also a heavy traffic jam."

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a hit-and-run accident involving a car and a bus at 7.35pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
