Burst pipe causes water to gush down Admiralty Road

Stompers Jammy and Humairah were passing by Admiralty Road on Saturday evening (Dec 22) when they saw water gushing from what appeared to be a burst pipe located beneath the ground.

Jammy was walking by at 8pm when he took a video of the flowing water.

Humairah was travelling in a vehicle past the water leak a little later and shared another video taken at the scene.

Workers had placed sandbags to restrict the flow of water.

"I think the construction work in the area may have caused the pipe to burst," she said.

Stomp understands that repair works are underway and that the leak is expected to be fixed by Monday (Dec 24) or Tuesday (Dec 25).
