'Bumblebee' car driver allegedly flees after accident with lorry in Yishun

A car and a lorry were involved in a hit-and-run accident in Yishun during the wee hours of Thursday (Sep 17).

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Yishun Ring Road and Yishun Avenue 3 at 1.52am.

No injuries were reported.

Stomper K shared photos showing the two vehicles at the scene and said that the incident occurred behind Khatib Camp at around 1.30am.

K said that the car driver had fled after the accident and added: "When we asked the lorry driver if he needed help, he said the car driver had ran away.

"My friend, a food delivery rider, tried to chase after the car driver."

Police are investigating the incident.
