Boy who dashed across road in Hougang 'might not be so lucky next time'

Parents, do you know what your children are up to outside?

A Stomper was travelling along Hougang Avenue 5 on Tuesday (Feb 26) when he saw a young student dashing across the road instead of waiting for the traffic light to be in his favour.

The incident, which occurred at around 2.05pm, was captured on the Stomper's dashboard camera.

Said the Stomper: "You can see a woman waiting at the pedestrian crossing but the boy ran across the road despite oncoming traffic.

"He was alone and looked like he was in Primary 3 or 4.

"This is very dangerous. I’m worried that this boy might not be so lucky next time!

"I hope that by sharing this, parents will be aware of what their kids are doing outside."
