A BMW driver was seen using his phone while driving along Farrer Road on Monday (Aug 31).
Stomper Chan informed Stomp about the incident and shared a video of what he saw.
In the video, the Stomper can be heard speaking in Mandarin and saying: "Take a video of him. Show him that we are taking a video of him."
Chan also told Stomp: "This video shows him using his mobile phone while driving."
Under the Road Traffic Act, a driver of a vehicle who holds in his hand a mobile communication device and operates any of its communicative or other functions, while the vehicle is in motion on a road or in a public place is guilty of an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
