A BMW driver who beat a red light at the junction of Telok Blangah Road and Harbourfront Walk at 12pm on Thursday (Jul 26) was caught on a car's dash camera.

Stomper Low, whose car came to a stop at the junction, witnessed the incident.

In a video Low shared, three pedestrians are seen crossing the road after the green man appeared.

However, the pedestrians had barely crossed half of the road before the BMW zoomed past them.

Two of the pedestrians halted in their steps, appearing slightly shocked after the car went by them.

Low said: "A grey BMW bearing the licence plate number 'SCY8111T' beat a red light and had a near-accident with pedestrians who were crossing.

"It's so dangerous, the green man already appeared for quite a while but the driver still went ahead.

"If the pedestrians had walked a bit faster, there might have been an accident.

"I have reported the incident to the relevant authorities."
