Blaze consumes private bus in Jurong East

A private bus caught fire at the junction of Jurong East Central and Bukit Batok Avenue 1 at about 8.20pm on Thursday (Sep 12).
Stompers Shah and Dale contributed to Stomp videos of the fire.
Shah told Stomp that his video was filmed from Block 266 Toh Guan Road.
Videos show thick plumes of smoke emitting from the flames.
Responding to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said: "At about 8.20pm on Thursday (Sep 12), the SCDF responded to a fire at the junction of Jurong East Central and Bukit Batok Avenue 1.
"The fire involved a private bus and was extinguished by SCDF using two water jets.
"There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation."
