Appeal for witnesses: Rider suffers fractured thigh bone, cheekbone after accident with car at Tampines

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a car at the junction of Tampines Avenue 5 and Tampines Avenue 8 on Dec 5.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared that her friend, the victim's wife, is appealing for witnesses.

According to the victim's wife, her husband was going straight when a car turning right inched out of the road pocket and hit his bike.

He suffered a broken thigh bone and fractured cheekbone.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 2.26pm.

"The rider, a 25-year-old man, was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital," a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
