Appeal for witnesses: Hit-and-run driver damages car parked at Tampines carpark

A family is appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run accident at a carpark near Block 826 Tampines Street 81 on Monday night (Aug 1).

Stomper ST said his dad, who is a Grab driver, had parked his car to go have dinner from about 10.10 to 10.35pm.

"When he returned, he realised that the back of his car's bumper had come off and there is a white scratch of paint on the side of the car," he said.

"There was no note left by the offender.

"I have made a police report and am waiting for a response."

In the meantime, the family is appealing for witnesses who may have footage of the incident.

"Please help," he said.

"As my dad is a Grab driver, having to do these repairs would cost him a few days' earnings.

"I sincerely hope that the person who did this would come forward and settle this."
