A Stomper is appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident at the junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok North Avenue 1 earlier this month (Apr 9) at around 10pm, which left her husband with a dislocated finger and abrasions all over his body.

In the dashcam footage the Stomper contributed, a black car turning right at the junction can be seen slamming into her husband at the pedestrian crossing, throwing him into the air before he lands on the road. The driver then flees the scene.

Said the Stomper:

"It was a green man when we crossed the road.

"My husband, who was riding an e-scooter, saw the car approaching. He tried running but the car still hit him on his legs and he was thrown in the air before he fell onto the road.

"Thankfully, the ambulance stopped and brought him to the hospital."

"We did a hand X-ray and found out he had a dislocated finger. He also had abrasions all over his body.

"A very kind driver passed me this video.

"Please help me to identify the driver. Our roads won't be safe with drivers like this around."
