A tree uprooted and fell on a row of parked cars at Block 752 Yishun Street 72 today (Jan 12) at around 1.07am.

Stomper D took photos of the tree and shared them with Stomp.

Thankfully, he said that the cars did not look to be badly damaged.

This comes just a day after a massive tree uprooted and fell near a playground at Block 147 Yishun Street 11, scattering leaves on the corridor of the HDB block.

It is likely that both trees fell due to the bouts of heavy rain happening this month due to a monsoon surge in the South China Sea which has also brought a rush of cool air to Singapore, with temperatures dipping below 22 degrees Celcius.
