Another resident's meter blocked by neighbour's clutter -- this time in Choa Chu Kang

A resident in Choa Chu Kang is increasingly frustrated over how his neighbour has been blocking his water and gas meter with clutter.

Stomper Anonymous shared photos with Stomp on July 22, showing various items stacked in front of the meter. There was even a children's stool placed on top of the pile.

Anonymous told Stomp: "I informed the town council about the situation on February 29 but majority of the clutter is still blocking my water meter as of July 22.

"I'm very disappointed."

Stomp has contacted the town council for more info.

In a separate incident last month, a Bukit Panjang resident shared similar frustrations about being unable to read her electric meter after her neighbours blocked it with their personal belongings.

Holland Bukit-Panjang Town Council had said in a statement that the relevant agencies and the town council have been following up on the case.

"The town council and the agencies will continue to manage the situation," a spokesman said about the issue in Bukit Panjang.
