Another accident along Tanah Merah Coast Road, this time involving tipper truck and van

A tipper truck and a van were involved in an accident along Tanah Merah Coast Road towards Changi Coast Road today (Aug 30) at around 9.29am.

Stomper Poon was at the scene and sent a photo to Stomp.

He said: "A van that was trying to turn right into Changi Coast Road was hit by an oncoming lorry.

"The van driver suffered a minor injury on his shoulder."

Police investigations are ongoing.

This is not the first time an accident has been reported in the area.

Poon had also previously alerted Stomp to an accident there on Aug 21, in which a van had overturned and a 34-year-old man was sent to Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Earlier on July 18, Stomper Sudharson saw an accident between a tipper truck and a lorry, also along Tanah Merah Coast Road. The 25-year-old truck driver was conveyed to CGH.
