Aetos car fails to stop for red right-turn arrow: Aetos investigating, matter referred to police

Security firm Aetos is investigating an incident in which one of its cars was seen failing to stop at a traffic light during the red right-turn arrow.

Facebook page Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road posted a video of the incident and said it occurred in Clementi on Monday (Aug 17), at 6.58am.

According to the video caption, the Aetos car "beat [the] red turn arrow when traffic in [the] opposite direction [had already begun] to move."

In response to Stomp queries, an Aetos spokesman said: "Our officers are expected to adhere to all laws and regulations during the course of their duties.

"The matter has been referred to the Traffic Police (TP) and we are currently conducting an investigation into the incident in question."

The spokesman also said that Aetos will not hesitate to take necessary actions if investigations reveal that an offence has been committed.
