Why was a Mediacorp actress working at a pasar malam stall?

Actress Fang Rong was spotted at a night market at 85 Bedok North Street 4 on Oct 29 at 4pm and she was not just visiting.

"A Mediacorp star, Fang Rong, was running a pasar malam stall near the Fengshan market," said Stomper Kyle, who shared a photo of the actress at the stall.

Did she join the F&B business like a number of other local celebrities?

Actually, it was part of a new variety show called Pasar Malam Stars, where celebrity teams man their own pasar malam stall for one evening.

Fang Rong was teamed up with fellow actress Tay Ying.

What did their stall sell?

No, not fish. That was the stall next to theirs.
