8 women arrested after unlicensed massage parlour found allegedly offering sexual services

Eight women, aged between 22 and 35, were arrested during an enforcement operation against unlicensed massage establishments along South Bridge Road on July 16.

During the operation conducted by Central Police Division, an outlet was detected to be operating as an unlicensed massage establishment and the employees were allegedly found to be offering sexual services.

"Eight women were arrested for offences under the Women’s Charter," said the police.

Three of them were also arrested for working without a work permit under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
