An elderly pedestrian was left unconscious after getting hit by a van along Bedok Reservoir Road on Sunday (Aug 21).
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 11.24am.
The 79-year-old male pedestrian was unconscious when taken to hospital.
The 26-year-old van driver was arrested for careless driving causing grievous hurt.
Stomper Melvin shared a photo of the accident scene near Block 632 Bedok Reservoir Road. The pedestrian can be seen lying on the road while surrounded by a few other men.
Melvin said: "A van driver ran into the pedestrian. A doctor from the clinic nearby attended to the victim (before paramedics arrived)."
Police investigations are ongoing.
