78-year-old cyclist taken to hospital after accident with motorcycle at Bedok junction

An elderly cyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a motorcycle in Bedok on Wednesday afternoon (May 21).

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Bedok South Avenue 1 and Bedok South Road at 4.04pm.

The 78-year-old male cyclist was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital.

Photos that a Stomper took at the scene show a bicycle lying on the road. The motorcycle and an ambulance can also be seen.

Police investigations are ongoing.
